ISA World Surfing Games

Known as the Olympic Games of the surfing world, the world’s best surfers, longboarders and bodyboarders will be making their bid to win the 22nd edition of the ISA World Surfing Games this Autumn. From 11-19th October, the ISA World Surfing Games will be taking over the beaches of Costa de Caparica, Portugal, for some spectacular surf action.

Once again, almost 350 surfers from more than 40 countries will meet to define the nation of World Surfing Champs, as well as the individual champions in the following categories: Open Men, Women, Bodyboard, Women’s Bodyboard and Longboard.

A total of ten members per team will step into the water to represent their country, comprising four Open Men, two Open Women, two Bodyboard Men, one Bodyboard Woman and one Longboarder. Each team member will add points to the country team total, with the nation gaining the highest points total being awarded the World Surfing Champions title.
